You know how when someone disagrees with you, and you educate them with your evidence, they say, “Of course you’re right! How could I have been so wrong?!?” Yeah, that doesn’t happen often. Melanie Trecek-King will explain how to think better and have more productive conversations.

Melanie Trecek-King is Associate Professor of Biology at Massasoit Community College, where she teaches a course designed to equip students with critical thinking, information literacy, and science literacy skills, using a “teach skills, not facts” approach. She is Education Director for the Mental Immunity Project and the Cognitive Immunology Research Collaborative (CIRCE), which aims to inoculate minds against misinformation.
