21st District Democratic congressional candidate Aaron Woolf joins Congressman Paul Tonko and other local leaders this afternoon on a business tour of Johnstown and Gloversville.
The two will meet small business owners to discuss job growth. During the tour, Tonko is expected to officially endorse Woolf for Congress. "He has a very earnest interest in how we can develop the policy that best promotes the growth of small business, which is the economic recovery engine of our area," said Tonko.
Tonko adds Woolf is a "policy-driven" candidate: co-incidentally, Woolf co-wrote two songs made popular by the band Phish. Congressman Bill Owens of Plattsburgh, a Democrat, is not seeking reelection, blowing the race open.
