Equinox's New CEO Discusses Group's Mission

There was a change in leadership this summer at Equinox, the Albany-based social services not-for-profit perhaps best known for its annual Thanksgiving Day dinner. John Henley is the new CEO of Equinox, taking over for Dorothy Cucinelli, who left to lead the Capital Region Collaborative, a group of mental health and substance abuse service providers.

Henley, who came to Equinox from Northern Rivers Family of Services two years ago, was the interim CEO until he took he became full-time this summer at Equinox.

Henley spoke about his role with WAMC’s Brian Shields.
