Two Capital Region news outlets are suing the City of Glens Falls over the non-release of personnel documents.
In a blog post by Post-Star editor Ken Tingley, it was announced that the newspaper and WNYT-TV are jointly suing the City of Glens Falls over documents related to the firing of a former city assessor.
A Freedom of Information Law request, appeal, and third request by the newspaper were denied. The outlets believe the documents should be made public.
A hearing has been set in New York Supreme Court for November 28th.
