Police will be watching Albany High Monday after a melee forced the district to close the school Friday.
Nearly 30 students have been suspended and won't be welcome back Monday morning when classes resume at Albany High School. 10 students were arrested after a pre-dismissal rumble Thursday afternoon on school grounds. Another student could face felony charges for pulling a fire alarm, an incident police say was not related to the series of fights that broke out across the campus. School was closed Friday so that officials could review surveillance video. A scheduled basketball game was moved to Shenendehowa in Clifton Park. Officials expect additional suspensions and possibly more arrests. There will be an increased police presence on school grounds Monday.
