Former Congressmembers Urge Support For Nuclear Agreement

Seventy-five former members of Congress have written a letter to the current members of Congress urging their support for the joint comprehensive plan of action, the nuclear agreement between Iran, the U.S. and five world powers. Among those who signed the letter is a former democratic New York congresswoman, Elizabeth Holtzman. 

Among the other former members of Congress from the northeast who signed the letter: Chester Atkins, Marty Meehan and Barney Frank of Massachusetts, Toby Moffett of Connecticut, and from New York, Thomas Downey, Richard Ottinger and Stan Lundine, who also served as lieutenant governor.
