Another Storm Hits The Northeast

Winter-weary New England is getting more snow, likely several days of it and possibly totaling more than a foot.

Winter storm warnings were issued Saturday night for much of New England, central New York and the western Catskills. The biggest concern is southern New England, which is still digging out from recent powerful storms that dumped record-high snowfall totals in some places.

Light snow began falling Saturday in the Boston area. Forecasters say the long-duration snowstorm will become more intense by Sunday night. By Monday night, there could be 10 to 18 inches of fresh snow on the ground.

In many New England communities, the obvious problem is where to put the next batch of snow.

It also is likely to cause problems for commuters on Monday.
