Gasland, an Oscar nominated documentary, has become an often quoted and viewed source for those opposed to hydraulic fracturing for natural gas in New York and elsewhere, and has been soundly criticized by those who support the drilling.
The sequel is about to be released. Gasland II will debut on HBO July 8th, but it will get a preview showing this evening at WAMC’s Linda auditorium in Albany at 7 p.m. Director Josh Fox will be there and he spoke with WAMC’s Brian Shields about Gasland II, and what it will cover that the first film did not.
