Melissa Etheridge Coming To Albany — Alone

Melissa Etheridge

If we were to recite all of Melissa Etheridge’s musical accomplishments, it would fill our time with her, but in brief, she has been nominated for 13 Grammys, written several memorable hit anthems, sold millions of records, released a dozen studio albums, won an Academy Award, survived cancer, performed on Broadway, and served as a leader in the fight for LGBTQ rights in the recording industry and nationwide.

The latest chapter of her career brings her to the Egg in Albany on Saturday as part of her This is ME Solo tour.

A lifelong resident of the Capital Region, Ian joined WAMC in late 2008 and became news director in 2013.
