With primary day in the books, the general election ballot in Massachusetts has taken shape.Among the statewide contests - Democratic Governor Maura Healey will face Republican Mike Minogue, while Democratic U.S. Senator Ed Markey will face a familiar Republican candidate in John Deaton. State Republicans gathered in Worcester Saturday for their annual convention. While Mike Minogue was backed by 70% of delegates, Brian Shortsleeve received enough votes to make September's primary ballot.
