Vice President Mike Pence made a surprise visit to Vermont Friday and is expected to be in the state for the holiday weekend.
Air Force Two landed at the Burlington International airport early Friday afternoon and taxied to the Vermont Air National Guard facility.

The state’s congressional delegation was not informed of the Vice President’s plans and Governor Phil Scott reportedly had no plans to meet with Mr. Pence.
