Authorities say highway exit ramps at a busy interchange near the Empire State Plaza in downtown Albany are closed after a tractor-trailer overturned, leaving the trailer hanging over the edge of the road.
Albany police say the truck crashed Thursday afternoon on the Interstate 787 exit ramp to the Dunn Memorial Bridge linking Albany and Rensselaer. Debris from the crash fell onto the roadway below.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
