Pittsfield, MA – A new report released by the Massachusett Budget and Policy Center says that women and girls are the primary beneficiaries of essential government services -- so budget cuts hurt THEM the most. The report was unveiled, as the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women appointed new members in Pittsfield. WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief John Krol has the story.
