  • Cellist and producer Maya Beiser will release her new album “InfInIte Bach” on May 26. Her first recording of the complete Solo Cello Suites of Johann Sebastian Bach, “InfInIte Bach,” Beiser made this album in her converted barn in the Berkshires in Massachusetts, recording the Suites while exploring the varying frequencies and resonances of the room, in order to create layers of sound acoustically.
  • The 76th Annual Tony Awards will be given on June 11 and friend of the station Jessica Hecht is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her portrayal of Alice in Pulitzer Prize winner David Auburn’s “Summer, 1976.”
  • Mark St. Germain has written the plays "Freud’s Last Session," "Camping with Henry and Tom," "Forgiving Typhoid Mary," and "Becoming Dr. Ruth." His other plays include "Best of Enemies," "Dancing Lessons," and "Eleanor."His new play "The Happiest Man on Earth," will have its world premiere May 24 – June 17 at the Barrington Stage Company’s St. Germain Stage in Pittsfield, Massachussets starring Kenneth Tigar and directed by Ron Lagomarsino.. "The Happiest Man on Earth" is based on the memoir of the same name by Eddie Jaku.
  • WAM Theatre and Berkshire Theatre Group are presenting the regional premier of Heidi Schreck’s “What the Constitution Means to Me” at the Berkshire Theatre Group’s Unicorn Theatre, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts May 18 through June 3. Directed by WAM Co-Founding Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven, “What the Constitution Means to Me” stars two-time Tony Award Nominee Kate Baldwin.
