Former Governor Pataki Speaks At Education Conference
Former New York Governor George Pataki was the keynote speaker at an education conference Tuesday.
The former Governor spoke at the College for Every Student global summit that is discussing ways to close the skills gap and get more students into college. "We have to link opportunity to education. And most importantly we have to give everyone in this country the opportunity to have access to that education.”
College for Every Student cites data that over the next 5 years more than 20 million low income American youth will be jobless or underemployed because they do not have college degrees or advanced work training.
