Researchers have been studying Lake George for decades and a new report takes a look at 37 years of work.

This week, the research journal Limnology and Oceanography published its analysis of data from the Offshore Chemistry Program on Lake George from 1980 to 2016.

To learn more about how the lake has changed over the last few decades, WAMC's Lucas Willard spoke with Rick Relyea, Director of RPI’s Darren Freshwater Institute and the Jefferson Project.

Lucas Willard is a news reporter and host at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, which he joined in 2011. He produces and hosts The Best of Our Knowledge and WAMC Listening Party.
