Former Fulton County Deputy Sheriff Richard Christiano Jr. was found guilty Wednesday of two felony counts of Grand Larceny for illegally selling two handguns.
Christiano owned a gun store in Perth that closed in October 2012.
Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen, who served as special prosecutor in the case, said Christiano held two guns until their owner became a state pistol permit holder.
Christiano then sold the guns that had been to transferred his store to different individuals in 2013.
He faces sentencing in March.
