Education officials in Massachusetts today said school districts should make in-person learning a priority even in places where risk levels are high for community spread of COVID-19.
The Springfield Public Schools have been fully remote since the new school year started in September. The School Committee was planning to make a decision on reopening school buildings for in-person learning at a meeting on Nov 12th But, first school officials want to hold a multi-lingual virtual town hall.
