A teenager working with the town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts on public transportation in Southern Berkshire County is holding a series of public forums this weekend.
Tate Coleman, 15, is a student at Bard Academy at Simon’s Rock College. He’s also the chairman of the Great Barrington Public Transportation Advisory Committee. As part of an ongoing project of studying revisions to Berkshire Regional Transit Authority service in Southerm Berkshire County, residents will be able to hear his ideas and offer their feedback this weekend.
“For example, an express service between Great Barrington and Pittsfield that would run hourly from 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.”
Sessions are scheduled Saturday at noon at the Lee library, Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheffield town hall, and April 26th at 4 p.m. at the intermodal transportation center in Pittsfield.
