City regulators have approved a proposed redevelopment of the Burlington Town Center mall.
The Development Review Board unanimously approved the project.
A lawyer for opponents of the project tells the Burlington Free Press he is preparing an appeal to Vermont Environmental Court, on behalf of 57 residents, who say the 14-story building is out of scale with the rest of the city.
The $225 million project would have 272 apartments as well as business, retail space and a parking garage.
The city's Development Review Board decided Monday that the project would fit into the city's long-term environmental and economic goals.
