Teachers in South Burlington say they will go on strike next week if negotiators can't reach an agreement with the school board in the Vermont city.
Eric Stone, the chief negotiator for the South Burlington Educators Association, says members are frustrated their district is the only one in the county that has been unable to reach an agreement.
Teachers have been working without a contract since July 1.
Stone says the issues are salary and benefits.
In 2011, South Burlington teachers were on the brink of a strike, but the two sides reached a last-minute deal.
