The Massachusetts September primary is unusual this year. It’s taking place on September 6th..a Thursday…Concern that people will be unaware of the change has prompted more get out the vote efforts according to Gladys Oyola, the city of Springfield’s Election Commissioner.
Oyola says over a thousand new voter registrations have been recorded by her office in the last month. People can register in person …many city and town halls will have extended hour for voter registration Friday. Mail in voter registration forms must be postmarked August 17th..
