Don't miss out on this evening tour of the Springfield Central Library building at 220 State Street!
This 1912 building, funded by Andrew Carnegie and the citizens of Springfield, is an important part of the downtown Springfield landscape. The tour will highlight the history of libraries in Springfield and the architecture of the building. Additionally, the tour will showcase how historical buildings adapt to modern usage. Included on the tour is an up-close look at the Rotunda, which features books and the bust of Athena.

Join Us at the 2nd Annual Beacon Art Book Fair in Beacon, NY!
Celebrate the vibrant spirit of self-publishing at the 2026 Beacon Art Book Fair, a one-day event bringing together our creative community. This event is a welcoming space for zine creators, book makers, and self-publishers of all kinds to share their work, connect with like-minded creatives, and engage with a community passionate about DIY publishing.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11a.m. to 4 p.m., at Beacon's VFW on Main Street. This event is free and all ages.
Join us for an opening and insight into this year’s feature exhibition “Talkin ‘Bout a Revolution: A Haudenosaunee Response to the 250th”. From Oneida, Wisconsin, to Akwesasne, participating artists will discuss their thought-provoking pieces and dialogue with each other and the audience about this widely celebrated American anniversary. Q & A will follow. Several of the artists will join the event in person or via Zoom, streamed live at the Museum. Refreshments will be served. Included in Museum admission.
