Orange County Fair
New York's oldest fair features first-rate family entertainment, thrilling midway rides and games for all ages, and deep-fried treats, sweets and other carnival eats.
Fair admission includes live music on two stages, the world-class Anastasini Circus, Benjamin Jackson Comedy Hypnotist Show, an educational petting zoo, Strongman Show, community exhibits and Friday night fireworks.
The Barn Amphitheatre will spotlight concerts by Mariachi Tapatio de Alvaro Paulino and Banda La Tumbadora de Newburgh, as well as musical tributes to Van Halen, Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses and Foo Fighters. The 31st Lap Stage will showcase performances by talented local musicians. See the website for stage schedules and VIP concert tickets.
Fair admission: $10; $7 for ages 7-12 and 65+; free for children under 7. A BOGO kid's admission coupon can be found on the website.
Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $30 on site. Admission/ride combos are $30 online before 4 pm July 20 and $40 once the fair opens.
