This very special event celebrates the beauty of art from the Hyde Collection and music from the Glens Falls Symphony. The fourth and final concert in the Symphony’s Season of Music that Heals and Inspires, this virtual event features performances of musical works composed over five centuries, along with viewing of special artworks from the Hyde. Your hosts, Glens Falls Symphony Music Director Charles Peltz and Hyde Director of Curatorial Services Jonathan Canning will illuminate and explore the relationships between the art and musical works. We invite subscribers to enjoy a virtual tour of inspiring sound and color. The concert is filmed and recorded at First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, whose music programming was championed early on by the Hyde family, a piece of history providing symmetry to this collaborative event. The event will be available for streaming on May 2 at 4pm through midnight on June 1.
