Communities large and small have comprehensive plans to chart the future and make decisions about how to proceed with planning and growth based on the most reliable data that’s available. The Albany County village of Menands, just to the north of the city of Albany, recently re-started work on its comprehensive plan.
Ethan Gaddy is a planner for the Chazen Companies, which is working with Menands on its plan. Gaddy spoke with WAMC’s Brian Shields about the work.
