'Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host' At Jacob's Pillow

David Bazemore

Ira Glass, host of public radio's This American Life, will be joined by Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass in a lively production that combines two unique art forms--dance and radio. They present a mix of movement and storytelling that is authentic, funny, and emotional.

Here we speak with Glass about Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, The Pillow, storytelling, Serial, and more.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
