Jeffrey Berman is Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University at Albany. His research and teaching interests include nineteenth and twentieth-century British literature, the novel, and psychoanalytic literary criticism. In 2007 he published, Dying to Teach. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
