Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Bonnie Steinbock of the University at Albany's philosophy department, explores the pros and cons of so-called 'designer' babies.

Dr. Steinbock earned her Ph.D. at UC Berkeley. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in ethics, bioethics, and philosophy of law, as well as graduate courses in public policy and public health. She is the director of the interdisciplinary minor in bioethics.
