The rally was organized by Fed-Up VT, a women's advocacy group to speak out against what it calls "rape culture and sexism." Women and Gender Studies/Political Science Sophomore Maura McGovern helped organize the rally...
"We are really glad that the administration has made the move to suspend them for now," said McGovern. "But we really believe that there should be more action taken."
The Vermont Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon has been suspended while school officials, national organization leaders and police investigate the allegations.
The national fraternity says there's no indication that the questionnaire was sanctioned by the chapter or circulated among all members of the Burlington fraternity.
