The COVID-19-related deaths of nine nuns at a Latham convent have made international headlines.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany says it is adding a late priest to its List of Offenders, citing “reasonable cause” related to four allegations of sexual abuse against minors.

A retired New York Roman Catholic Priest has been placed on administrative leave following allegations of sexual abuse of a minor in the 1960s and 70s.

Today in Albany, sexual abuse survivors joined representatives of two law firms in releasing the names and photographs of more than 80 clergymen in the Diocese of Albany accused of sexual misconduct. The Diocese disputes the report.
