The Sharon Playhouse is launching its 2025 summer season with the musical “Million Dollar Quartet,” opening Friday night and run through July 6th, including a special holiday performance on July 4th at 4pm.This show brings to life the unforgettable night in 1956 when rock and roll legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins gathered at Sun Records to create musical history.The season will continue with three other shows including Annie, Sylvia and The Mousetrap.

Jane Kaczmarek may be a three-time Golden Globe nominee for playing Lois in the television series “Malcolm in the Middle,” but she considers theatre home. Over the past few years, she starred in "Long Day’s Journey Into Night" at the Geffen Playhouse and "The Roommate" and "Tell Me I’m Not Crazy" at Williamstown Theatre Festival. This month, she’ll play the Stage Manager in "Our Town" at Sharon Playhouse in Sharon, Connecticut through September 24.

The Sharon Playhouse in Sharon, Connecticut has been producing work for over 60 years. Having survived the pandemic The Playhouse is still going strong and for 2023, their new season features “Something Rotten!,” “Oliver!,” “Our Town” and “The Lifespan of a Fact.” Their Youth Theater productions will include “Peter and the Star Catcher,” “Frog and Toad” and “Newsies, Jr.”The Sharon Playhouse has a brand new Artistic Director, Carl Andress, who has an impressive New York theater background. Andress joins us along with Sharon Playhouse Associate Artistic Director and Director of Education Michael Baldwin.
