The interim president of the Vermont State University has reversed a plan by the system’s previous president to create digital libraries, cut staff and remove physical books at its four campuses.

A state Senator has introduced a bill to prevent the Vermont State College system from implementing a plan to create digital libraries and remove physical books from the facilities.

Effective July 1st, all campuses of the newly formed Vermont State University system will adopt an all-digital library system.
