When we refer to “The universe” does that mean there is exactly one?
Well, UNI means one, and the traditional view has it that there’s a single cosmos. But these days, most people have heard of the multiverse idea. Which means there are many universes. But there’s no actual evidence for it. There is also the idea that there are precisely TWO universes, or a multiverse.
