The builders and developers group will join Unshackle Upstate's leadership team.
Both groups have been lobbying Albany for years, often on tax issues that affect business and employers.
Unshackle Upstate describes itself as a bipartisan coalition of more than 80 business and trade organizations representing more than 70,000 companies.
Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction association devoted to "merit shop," or non-union, contractors.
