Plattsburgh, NY – New York's 23rd Congressional district is one of the largest, geographically, east of the Mississippi. Encompassing 11 counties across the northern section of the state, the district is nearly 15-thousand square miles. There were three candidates in the race until Conservative Doug Hoffman dropped out. North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley profiles the Republican in the race - Matt Doheny.
