Albany, NY – The U.S. Supreme Court has thrown out an appeal of a Clean Air lawsuit by utilities that would have created a cap-and-trade system to regulate mercury emissions. The Adirondack Mountain Club, a party in the lawsuit, says the decision will help protect Adirondack and Catskill ecosystems. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
