Border Communities Keep an Eye on Canadian Dollar As Its Value Drops

Plattsburgh, NY – Northern border states and communities are keeping a keen eye on the value of the Canadian dollar. This summer the so-called loonie reached par with the U.S. dollar, but it is now down 20 cents. And that could have an impact on northern New York and Vermont's economy and trade. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
