Newburgh, NY – Discount carrier Skybus Wednesday announced that effective June 1, it will add one daily flight from Stewart Airport at Newburgh, NY to Portsmouth, NH. That's about 70 miles north of Boston and the airline will market the destination as a less expensive way for tourists to visit Boston without flying into Logan International Airport. At the same time as Skybus announced the Portsmouth service, it also announced it would cut in half the number of flights from Stewart to both Columbus, OH and Greensboro, NC.
