Newburgh, NY – Civil rights attorney Michael Sussman Thursday asked New York Governor Spitzer to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate cases of police involved deaths. Sussman's call came one day after an Orange County grand jury said it found insufficient evident to file criminal charges against five Newburgh City police officers in connection with the death of 25-year-old Nathaniel Cobbs of Newburgh last summer.
