Plattsburgh, NY – In 1999, the New York State Board of Regents transferred the responsibility for gaining teacher accreditation for SUNY colleges to the individual campuses. Plattsburgh State is currently seeking an extension on its deadline as it pursues national accreditation for its Teacher Education program. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
