Plattsburgh, NY – New York Governor George Pataki was in Plattsburgh Monday morning to officially welcome a major new employer to the North Country. The company is expected to bring an initial 800 jobs, over ten years the company is targeting hiring 25-hundred people. It's expected those employment numbers will double as auxiliary and support businesses also move into the region. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
