North Adams, MA – Renovated theaters have helped jump-start ailing downtowns all over the Northeast region. The list includes Poughkeepsie, Albany, Schenectady and Pittsfield. Now, North Adams in the Berkshires is getting an infusion of Federal money to help rebuild a shuttered theater...and to help rebuild area roadways. Senator Edward Kennedy was at the North Adams theatre Friday, as was WAMC's Arielle Trimm - who filed this report
