Plattsburgh, NY – Several months ago, the Department of Homeland Security announced plans that would require anyone crossing the U-S border to have a passport or secure document. But business, tourism and trade officials along the U-S/Canadian border raised concerns about the potential impact of such a plan. This week, New York Senator Charles Schumer introduced federal legislation that would mandate more affordable and accessible requirements.
