Kingston, NY – Dozens of residents from Ulster County town were out in protest earlier today over county and school tax hikes they say are destroying their lives. The tax increases come from a so-called large-parcel law that took effect this year. The protesters gathered outside a breakfast meeting in Kingston, which was attended by some of the legislators who backed the law. WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne was at the protest.
