1Berkshire To Hold Youth Entrepreneurship Session

1Berkshire

A Berkshire County economic development agency is holding an event to promote youth entrepreneurship on Tuesday.

The event is part of 1Berkshire’s Youth Leadership Program. Steering committee member Kathie Penna says the Startup and Entrepreneur session is intended to teach high schoolers about civic responsibility, long term commitments to the Berkshires, business, and career pathways.

“It kind of gives them an opportunity to explore our resources, leadership, issues and opportunities in the area,” said Penna.

The session will be held at the Norad Mill in North Adams, on Tuesday, December 3.
