Vermont's only member of the U.S. House of Representatives says President Donald Trump should be impeached.
Democratic Rep. Peter Welch announced his support for the impeachment of Trump on Thursday. “I’ve come to the conclusion that he’s violated his oath, that he’s unfit for office and that he should be impeached.”
Welch said a tipping point included President Trump’s racial attacks on Democratic Congresswomen
The House of Representatives on Wednesday rejected an effort to impeach Trump offered by Democrat Al Green of Texas.
