Vermont Voters Give Scott An Early Edge

Along with choosing a new president next year, voters in Vermont will also elect a new governor after Democrat Peter Shumlin said earlier this year that he will not seek a fourth term. The open seat has led to several candidates entering the race, with more expected in the coming months. The Castleton Polling Institute at Castleton University in Vermont Recently polled the voters on the current and some potential candidates to gauge name recognition and favorability. Rich Clark is an associate professor and head of the polling institute.
