Police Identify Human Remains Found In Orange County

State police say human remains found by utility workers clearing brush in Orange County have been identified as the victim in a Bronx homicide case.

Troopers said Tuesday an autopsy confirmed the skeleton found in Orange County last week is that of 35-year-old Ramona Moore, missing since July 30, 2012. Nasean Bonie, Moore's building superintendent in the Bronx, was indicted for her murder last May despite the lack of a corpse. Bonie is due in Bronx Supreme Court on Wednesday to be sentenced for assaulting his wife and for a previously scheduled conference hearing on the Moore homicide case. He has pleaded not guilty to the murder and manslaughter charges related to Moore's death. Moore's body was found Friday in Blooming Grove.
