The Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services, Central/West Regional Office, is pleased to welcome people with disabilities, their friends, family, and the agencies they work with to explore innovations in Assistive Technology on Thursday, May 30th from 10 am to 4 pm at Springfield College Field House (263 Alden Street, Springfield, MA 01109).
Assistive products maintain or improve functioning and independence and promote well-being. The Assistive Technology Fair will feature products and services to promote wellness, work, recreation, mobility, communication, transportation, executive functioning, personal care, and more! The Fair will feature an adaptive gaming station and low-sensory “quiet zone.”
DDS invites participants to explore a variety of assistive technology through exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations from people supported by DDS who use tech every day.
Participants are encouraged to register at this link. This event is free and open to the public.

The Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) provides services and support for Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Autism to enhance opportunities to become fully engaged members of their community.
